I suggest we all meet at the Vine this Saturday as it is a 40min drive to Hookey

We will leave around 9.10 to 9.15 to arrive at 10.00 am

Directions are to head up A34 and get off at Pear Tree and head up A44 towards Woodstock. Head up the A44 for around 15 miles until you join the A3400 which is effectively the same road. At this junction where the road splits I think there might be traffic lights. Go straight on, not left, past the golf club on the right and 'The quite woman" antiques centre on the left (A bit of a contradiction, particularly for a woman of advancing years).

Next is the roundabout at the junction with the A361 Banbury Road, Left is Chipping turn right towards Bloxham and Banbury.

After right turn go down the road about a third of a mile and take the 1st left, possibly sign posted Hook Norton. Continue for just over 2 miles avoiding the right and left turn on the way. Turn right then left towards Hookey on the Chipping Norton Road. When entering I believe on a slight downward slope into the town turn left at the sharp right hander into Clay Bank. Then take  next right into The Bourne. Then follow road and turn immediately left after the Black Boy Inn into the parking area.
